1. Site Vision - The design process begins with your query. Our project manager will setup an initial consultation with you to go through our design questionnaire. Then, the project manager and design team review your answers to the questionnaire and draft a design estimate. Next, the lead designer and project manager meet with the client to discuss the estimate and clear up any questions either side may have going into the initial design.
2. Prototype - Once the initial design meeting concludes, a prototype of the main page is created and viewed by the client. Once the prototype is approved and the contract is signed, work begins.
3. Revisions - When a significant amount of work has been completed, the client will be given access to a hidden testing server so they can provide feedback as the website draws near completion.
4. Site Completion - The site is considered complete when all items in the contract have been satisfied and the client has signed off on the final working site. Final payment is expected unless other arrangements have been made.
5. Launch Site - Once the site has been delivered to the project manager, it is uploaded and tested on the client’s host, or, if Synectx is the host, we update the DNS so the world can view your new site. (Alternatively, we can deliver the files on a DVD and the client can upload them.) Web maintenance, if included in the contract, then begins.
Pricing - Because we provide unique, customized websites, we find it is not practical to create design packages simply for the sake of having a price range or package to choose from. Instead, we take your questionnaire and initial consultation and use our estimate sheet to carefully analyze all time, effort, and tools required to build your site, deducting any discounts that may apply, producing a price that is right for each client. We find this system fair to each client, offering savings of 20% - 70% over competitor quotes.
Ordering - In a recent client poll, we discovered that there are two ways most clients think about ordering a website. We liken it to buying a car. Some really don't care about the details of the car, they just want something that will get them from Point A to Point B. Others want a specific interior and exterior, engine specs, stereo system, and special wheels and tires. Whether you know what you want or not, our ordering process is easy and concise, and a project manager will guide you every step of the way.
